Job description
Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets. Conduct financial analysis, evaluate financial performance, and prepare financial reports for senior management.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow and working capital, ensuring availability of funds for operational requirements. Implement effective cash management policies and procedures.
Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Monitor and manage financial exposures, such as currency exchange rates, interest rates, and credit risks.
Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Coordinate with external tax advisors to optimize tax planning strategies and minimize tax liabilities.
Financial Operations: Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Team Leadership: Manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback. Foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate investment opportunities, mergers and acquisitions, and other business initiatives.
Requirements
Education: A Diploma or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.
