Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger (GL):

• Oversee month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries , accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules

Accounts Receivable (AR):

• Oversee the AR team to ensure timely billing and collections.
• Review customer aging reports and follow up on overdue balances.
• Work closely with Sales and Operations teams to resolve billing disputes.
• Implement credit control policies to manage customer risk.

Inventory Management (AR):

• Provisions for slow moving and obsolete inventory.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of inventory balances, including movement tracking and stock aging analysis.
• Collaborate with supply chain and warehouse teams to optimize stock levels and improve inventory turnover.

Treasury:

• Manage daily cash flow and bank positions.
• Monitor short-term and long-term liquidity requirements.
• Liaise with banks for treasury-related matters.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and treasury reports for management review.
• System maintenance, implementation and enhancement.

Leadership & Compliance:

• Lead, coach, and develop the finance team.
• Support external and internal audits and ensure compliance with internal controls.
• Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters and projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or ACCA holder.
• Minimum with 5 years relevant experience in Finance
• Meticulous, good analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills in handling all levels of stakeholders
• Experience in using SAP.
• Experience in using Hyperion, SAP BPC.
• Good MS Office Skills (Excel & Powerpoint).
• Ability to prioritise work to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
