Job description

The Finance Manager position holds significant prominence within the Finance department. It plays a pivotal role in driving business success and operates under the direct supervision of the Senior Director. This role involves evaluating financial information and conducting strategic analyses and reporting, including profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, pricing, and more. Its primary aim is to influence decision-making within the organization and spearhead cross-business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assign and audit the work of the accounting staff to develop, implement, and maintain generally accepted accounting systems.
  2. Oversee basic accounting procedures (A/R, A/P, time billing, P/R, G/L, tax payments, and inventory control).
  3. Monitor and review all records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  4. Serve as the company liaison with auditors.
  5. Perform all basic accounting procedures, financial statement preparation, month-end closing, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance. Prepare supporting schedules for financial statements.
  6. Communicate with customers to address any past due invoices and provide weekly status updates to management.
  7. Ensure all active projects are covered by valid, binding contracts.
  8. Review, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts and investment transactions, and prepare quarterly reports for management.
  9. Perform operational analysis monthly.
  10. Oversee and manage all accounting activities within the Southeast Asia region, ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with corporate financial policies.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field is required.
  • Ability to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking clients and associates.
  • At least 4-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently when required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel.

Salary range: $3,300 - $3,600

Working hours: 5 days, Monday to Friday

Duration: Full Time / Permanent

Salary package: Up to $3,600 + Performance Bonus
