Qualifications & experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience in financial management within the construction sector.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., ERP-Synergix)
  • Immediate/Short Notice Preferred

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives. Analyze market trends, project costs, and financial risks to provide actionable insights.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizational goals. Monitor and report on budget variances, providing proactive solutions to optimize financial performance.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for executive leadership, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Cost Management: Implement effective cost control measures to optimize project profitability. Collaborate with project managers to track and analyze project costs, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow effectively, ensuring the availability of funds for project milestones. Implement strategies to mitigate financial risks and maximize liquidity.
  • Financial Compliance: Stay abreast of relevant financial regulations and standards in the construction industry. Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and internal policies.
