We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance function and manage the full spectrum of accounting and financial operations, including consolidation reporting for both local and overseas entities. This is a pivotal role suited for a meticulous and proactive finance professional who can operate independently and contribute to strategic decision-making at the management level.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting and transaction processing functions, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), cash flow, and audit schedules.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial reports for group entities across multiple jurisdictions.
Ensure accurate bookkeeping and timely financial reporting, including data entry and reconciliation of bank and accounting records.
Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely delivery of financial statements and reports.
Lead compliance with local statutory requirements, including GST, Corporate Income Tax (CIT), and MAS regulatory submissions.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth audit and compliance processes.
Provide financial insights and support in process improvement, system upgrades, and internal control enhancements.
Supervise and guide junior staff (if applicable) and coordinate intercompany accounting transactions.
Support management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CA, ACCA, or CPA is an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of progressive finance experience, including experience in a managerial or supervisory role, with proven expertise in group consolidation accounting, financial reporting, and managing end-to-end finance operations.
Hands-on experience with MAS compliance and regulatory submissions.
Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software (preferably QuickBooks).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Able to work independently, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
