Job description

The Swatch Group Ltd is an international Group active in the manufacture and sale of finished watches, jewelry, watch movements and components. Swatch Group supplies nearly all components required for the watches sold by its brands as Breguet, Harry Winston, Blancpain, Glashütte Original, Jaquet Droz, Omega, Longines, Rado, Union Glashütte, Tissot, Balmain, Certina, Mido, Hamilton, Swatch and Flik Flak.


We are seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Finance Head based in Singapore, the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the reporting, analysis and budgeting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness submission of financial data, and overseeing the daily finance operations.

He/She will also ensure controls in place and in adherence to Swatch Group compliance and governance policy.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of financial reporting(Budgeting, etc.), including the preparation of P&L Statements, balance sheets and Cash Flow Forecast

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and company policies

  • Review and Control Capital Expenditure requests for new investments, Analysing and ensuring all assess are properly accounted for in details.

  • Assess financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.

  • Ensure proper internal controls are in place and in accordance to Group policies.

  • Implement best practice rules defined by HQ

  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts and budgets

  • Analyse financial performance against targets and provide insightful recommendations to the senior management leadership team.

  • Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement

  • Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders.

  • Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions.

  • Collaborations with Brands on operational and finance matters to support and provide strategic decision-making.

  • Manage and ensure the integrity of reporting systems (BOFC, SAP, CBR etc.)

  • Ensure reconciliation are done between systems

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, offering financial expertise and guidance

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar Finance Manager role in the same capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with different business teams

  • High degree of initiative and problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure with tight deadline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI and Excel skills. Data analytics skills such as python are desirable

    Good knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field with a Professional accounting certification (CPA/Chartered accountant) is preferred
