A leading company in logistics and manufacturing is seeking a M&A Financial Analyst to take charge of financial modeling, valuation, transaction negotiations, and due diligence processes. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in finance and project management, alongside excellent analytical skills. This role is crucial in supporting strategic financial decisions and ensuring compliance throughout the M&A processes.
· Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
· Deliver customized management reports for critical decisions (e.g., market expansion, cost optimization).
· Lead ad-hoc projects for various management support decisions.
· Oversee end-to-end M&A accounting:
o Manage purchase accounting, including valuation of assets/liabilities and purchase price allocation.
o Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standard and regulatory standards.
· Drive integration planning:
o Develop detailed integration roadmaps, track milestones, and align cross-functional teams.
· Ensure accurate reporting:
o Prepare and review M&A-related financial statements and disclosures.
· Evaluate potential deals through financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment.
· Participate in deal structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
· Monitor post-acquisition performance, tracking synergies and addressing integration gaps.
· Lead negotiation and structuring of transactions:
o Participate in the negotiation and structuring of deals, including due diligence, financing, and transaction documentation
o Optimize transaction outcomes through risk mitigation and favorable terms.
· Serve as the primary finance liaison for M&A activities, advising on accounting treatments and process improvements.
· Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Operations to ensure seamless deal execution and compliance.
