A leading company in construction is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations within projects. This role involves budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Finance manageris responsible for overseeing financial operations throughout the project, which includes budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting. She/He is also responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure that the project is financially feasible and profitable.
Responsibilities
· Develop and manage project budgets and cash flow projections.
· Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards.
· Monitor project costs, analyze variances, and identify areas for improvement.
· Prepare financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
· Collaborate with project managers to ensure that financial objectives are met.
· Communicate financial information to management and project teams.
· Manage risk and ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
· Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
· Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable.
· Ensure compliance with tax laws and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
· Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy; CFA, ACCA, CPA and other qualifications are preferred.
· At least 6 years working experience in financial management.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to manage and lead a team.
· Proficiency in financial software, such as SAP, Excel, and other accounting programs.
· Understanding of construction finance and project management.
