Job Description:

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Finance Manager to spearhead the finance function of our publicly listed IT company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial reporting and management, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and supporting corporate finance activities. You will play a key role in ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance and supporting the company’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the accounting and admin team
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and periodic reporting in compliance with listing requirements
  • Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and reporting
  • Manage statutory audits, tax reporting, and liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis
  • Ensure compliance with the applicable accounting standards (SFRS / US GAAP)
  • Prepare and review management reports, financial analysis, and key financial KPIs for decision-making
  • Oversee and support bank relationships, funding arrangements, and foreign currency exposures
  • Support corporate finance exercises such as fundraising, M&A and due diligence as needed
  • Implement and improve internal controls, finance policies and processes
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, corporate tax, and other statutory filings

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA)
  • At least 6–10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role
  • Experience in a listed company environment is required
  • Solid understanding of SFRS, tax, GST, and internal controls. Working knowledge of US GAP is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Experience with Microsoft ERP systems (BC or NAV) would be advantageous.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to work independently in a lean team
  • Experience in the IT, software, or technology sector is preferred.
  • Exposure to project costing, corporate finance and fundraising exercises will be advantageous
