We are looking for a proactive and adaptable Finance Manager to take ownership of the company's finance function in a fast-growing startup. This is a standalone role suited for someone who enjoys building from scratch, thrives in dynamic environments, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.

Description

  • Manage daily accounting tasks including bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
  • Prepare timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, annual) and support audit processes.
  • Set up and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore's accounting standards and tax regulations, including GST filings.
  • Manage fundraising activities including financial modeling, investor materials, and due diligence coordination.
  • Assist in developing financing strategies and liaising with external stakeholders such as banks and investors.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost control efforts.
  • Provide financial insights to support business decisions and long-term planning.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure financial practices remain compliant.

Profile

  • Proven experience in both accounting operations and corporate finance.
  • Strong understanding of Singapore financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Independent and resourceful, with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with financial institutions.
