Job description

  • Reports to Managing Director of Singapore Branch Office
  • Responsible for monitoring of critical financials & operational metrics, and formulate strategic plans to drive financial performance and direction of the company
  • Review all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports
  • Ensure Company’s compliance with all Group and statutory requirements, including statistical reporting
  • Oversee the finance operations and related activities
  • Oversee financial functions for construction projects in Singapore, including the execution of funds and issuance of guarantees
  • Liaise with external and internal auditors, tax agents and banks
  • Report monthly, quarterly and yearly Singapore financial activities to Headquarters
  • Develop yearly budgeting and forecasting
  • Lead, support, train, and develop finance team members

Job Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant managerial experience for A1 MNC Construction firm is essential for this position
  • Comprehensive understanding of construction industry financial statements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP ERP accounting system is mandatory
  • Strong financial accounting principle knowledge, planning ability and able to work independently to meet the deadline
  • Good organizational, problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
