Finance Manager


Responsibilities

  • Oversee a group of entities month end closing including GST returns
  • Responsible for all aspects of the Group’s consolidation, statutory reporting, management reporting and tax compliance across Singapore, New Zealand and Australia
  • Partner closely with country teams on reporting, regulatory, tax and audit matters
  • Co-ordinate with external auditors, banks, tax agents and secretarial agents in preparing the statutory audit, tax and other compliance matters
  • Ensure all reporting activities are conducted in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
  • Oversee cash flows and assist CFO to develop strategies to meet funding and investment needs
  • Oversee and provide guidance on the accounting and reporting of subsidiaries from Singapore, New Zealand and Australia
  • Preparation of quarterly board papers, quarterly forecast and annual budget
  • Assist in HR and payroll matters
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

  • CA qualification and degree in accounting with more than 5 years of relevant working experience
  • Has experience leading a small team with oversea subsidiaries and preferably with experience in the property industry
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting standards
  • Good written and oral communication and good people skills
  • Can work within tight deadlines
