Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a robust background in the transport and mobility industry to join our Singapore Controllership team as an Assistant Manager/Manager. The ideal candidate will possess the expertise and leadership skills necessary to drive the financial operations within our organisation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role will report to Finance Director, Singapore based onsite at our One North Office.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

1. Leadership and Development:
   • Foster a culture of ethical practices and continuous improvement to ensure accurate and consistent accounting activities.
   • Develop the team's competencies to align with organisational goals and regulatory requirements.
2. Reporting and Compliance:
   • Oversee the preparation and submission of legal, regulatory, and internal reports.
   • Ensure all reporting activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
3. Financial Advisory:
   • Provide expert advice on both regular and new business activities, focusing on financial aspects to drive strategic decision-making.
   • Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver insights that enhance business performance.
4. Risk Management and Support:
   • Offer guidance and support to other business functions, aiming to optimise and mitigate business risks.
   • Develop strategies that align financial goals with broader business objectives.
5. Ad-hoc Responsibilities:
   • Adapt to dynamic business needs and contribute to special projects as necessary.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Proven experience in the transport/mobility industry (>3 years and above).
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• In-depth understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Ability to work collaboratively and manage cross-functional relationships.
