Job summary

A leading company in advanced battery technology seeks a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the preparation and submission of financial reporting packs for subsidiaries across Asia. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards while enhancing business processes. Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, be proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office, and have experience in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Big 4 audit experience is an advantage.
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin, both orally and in writing.

• Coordinate reporting packs and deliverables with subsidiaries.
• Prepare and coordinate forecasts and budgets for review.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, and accounting standards.

Job description

Job Description:

1. Co-ordinate with subsidiaries (India, malaysia) to ensure timely submission of reporting packs

2. Oversee/prepare reporting packs and deliverables submitted by subsidiary companies

3. Prepare and co-ordinate the forecasts and annual budgets for review and approval

4. Support oversess capex/costing management

5. Ensure compliance with statutory, tax and accounting standards (IFRS etc)

6. Liaise with auditors, tax agent, company secretary and bankers

7. Evaluate and make improvements to business process and systems

8. Any other ad-hoc requests

9. Required to travel to India, China, Malaysia

Experiences:

1. Big 4 audit experience an advantage

2. Prior experience in manufacturing industry will be an advantage

3. Proficient in both English and Mandarin orally and written to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts

4. Good communication, coordination, and presentation skills

5. Possess positive attitude, meticulous and analytical

6. Conversant with SAP and proficient in Microsoft Office in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
