Job Description

Finance & Accounts:

  • The Finance Manager will be responsible for the efficient functioning of all finance processes. This includes activities related to budgeting, planning, finalization of P&L statements, balance sheets, managing cash flows, preparing cash flow forecasts, and serving as the single point of contact for all business information for the management committee.
  • Lead in managing treasury activities such as managing bank balances, placement of fixed deposits, and other investments under the guidance of VP Finance and the Finance Committee.
  • Prepare for all audit schedules and supporting documents, including annual financial statements, fixed assets schedule, fixed deposit schedule, inventory listing, and CMF audit.
  • Handle the submission of annual returns to MCCY and the preparation of monthly salary slips for staff and tutors.
  • Ensure timely submission of CPF contributions online to CPF Board and calculate SDL for staff and tutors.
  • Manage the submission of income details of tutors and staff to IRAS under the Auto Inclusion Scheme annually.

Team Management:

  • Mentor, coach, and monitor staff performance.
  • Conduct periodic reviews to assess KPIs and flag issues to the Executive Director.
  • Complete mid and annual appraisals for team members as per guidelines and deadlines.

  • Quick response time for mails, reports, and system updates.
