Finance Manager

About the role

Act as a proactive business contributor towards the Global VP, Global Direct to Consumer, and Global Finance Head of Finance, leveraging insights to drive stronger plans and ideas while providing financial leadership. Responsible for driving ROI mindset and profitable growth in E-commerce. Ensure proper governance and controls over CAPEX/IT investments and transparent reporting of performance.

Partner with sales and commercial teams to conduct channel and commercial strategies, improving decision making and investment strategy while driving ROI in Trade investments and cash flow improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Expectations

• Understand E-commerce channel goals and provide analyses to help achieve or exceed goals.
• Support annual target setting across E-commerce channel.
• Assist in developing channel strategy and decision making.
• Conduct profitability analysis of key customers and market places, providing recommendations for improvement.
• Support business case assessments of investment decisions (CAPEX and OPEX).

• Evaluate financials for opening new market places.
• Lead the quarterly and annual target setting process for E-commerce.
• Provide business insights on .com and market places performance to multifunctional teams and Exco.
• Perform variance analysis during month-end close (Volume, Trade Funds, RGI/BBI for the channel).
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and analyses as needed.

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience in Financial Analysis and Reporting, preferably in Sales or Brand Finance co-piloting roles.
• Experience in Financial Forecasting and deviation analysis with business interpretation.
• Good understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet under local GAAP and IFRS.
• Solid understanding of month-close process and its impact on financial statements.
• Experience in a multi-functional environment, particularly in E-commerce.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with SAP, Hyperion, or similar systems.

• Excellent financial leadership skills.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Effective communication skills at all levels, with proficiency in English.
• High mental agility and ability to connect the dots.

Professional Experience

• Strong career progression in Accounting, Business, or Finance within a multinational organization, ideally in FMCG.
• Experience with P&L delivery and sales, understanding of the retail landscape.
• Effective thought partner with a grasp of key financial drivers and contract management skills.
• Professional accounting qualification is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Ability to navigate financial and non-financial data analytics.
