Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the financial operations of the Singapore office, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
  • Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for regional and group-level reporting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and processes to ensure operational efficiency and financial integrity.
  • Handle cash flow management, cost control, and financial risk assessment to optimize business performance.
  • Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory compliance.
  • Support business decision-making with financial insights and data-driven recommendations.
  • Assist in setting up financial systems and processes for the Singapore office, including SAP systems and reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and regional expansion.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within manufacturing, technology, or multinational companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience in setting up new office finance functions is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
