Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the financial operations of the Singapore office, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis for regional and group-level reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies, controls, and processes to ensure operational efficiency and financial integrity.
- Handle cash flow management, cost control, and financial risk assessment to optimize business performance.
- Work closely with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure statutory compliance.
- Support business decision-making with financial insights and data-driven recommendations.
- Assist in setting up financial systems and processes for the Singapore office, including SAP systems and reporting tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and regional expansion.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, ACCA, or CFA qualification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably within manufacturing, technology, or multinational companies.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in setting up new office finance functions is an advantage.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP systems
