Job description

Responsibilities

1. Oversee finance team in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand

2. Review and ensure the accuracy of monthly accounts for Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and China companies

3. Review and approve purchase requisition, purchase order and costing sheet, purchase order and costing sheet

4. Review and approve sales invoice and delivery notes

5. Review and verify supplier invoices and payments

6. Review weekly cash report and monitor cash movement

7. Prepare cash flows forecast and management reports

8. Review and monitor trade debtors balance and stock list

9. Perform monthly group consolidation

10. Prepare sales and profitability analysis for submission to parent company in Singapore

11. Prepare group quarterly forecasts

12. Prepare annual group budget consolidation and reporting to parent company

13. Liaise with external auditors and tax agent on audit and tax related matters

14. Liaise with internal auditors

15. Prepare and review audited financial statements

16. Attend to sales and operation personnel's on finance related queries and issues

17. Any ad hoc task as and when assigned

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related finance field degree or ACCA or equivalent

2. CPA member

3. At least 4-5 years accounting and managerial experience. Candidates with consolidation experience is preferred

4. Candidates with shorter notice period preferred

5. Strong analytical mindset and keen interest in analysis.

6. Technically proficient with MS Office (strong Excel skills)

7. Proactive and problem solver

8. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills

9. Able to work independently and under tight deadlines

10. Able to travel overseas
