Job summary

A leading trading company in Singapore seeks a Finance Manager to oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance, and manage cash flow. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in the international commodity trading sector, fluent in Mandarin, and possess a CPA/ACCA qualification. This role offers the opportunity to lead financial reporting and interface with both internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in finance roles.
• 4 years of management experience in financial positions.
• Knowledge of factoring companies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations and compliance.
• Manage finance and accounting performance and monthly closing.
• Report on cash flow and treasury to the group treasury department.
• Provide timely financial information to stakeholders.
• Assist auditors and communicate with external partners.

Skills

Experience in international Commodity trading industry

Mandarin language proficiency

IT background for digitisation

Education

CPA/ACCA or recognized accounting qualification

Job Description

1. conduct all aspects of the daily running of the accounting jobs, Ensure that all bookkeeping and financial reporting is in compliance with legal and corporate requirements.

2. take full responsibility for finance and accounting performance as well as monthly closing, ensuring timely reporting with the respect of deadline;

3. take full responsibility of company cash flow and treasury, regularly reporting to group treasury department.

4. Provide financial information and reports on timely basis to internal and external parties, including shareholders ,management and banks.

5. Assist internal and external auditors in auditing

6. Well communicate with external partner, such as bank, tax office and related government office.

7. other responsibilities assigned by Group finance headquarters and CEO.

Requirement:

1. Experience in international Commodity trading industry.

2. Mandarin is required to liaison with head office

3. Possess CPA/ACCA or any other recognized accounting qualification

4. Knowledge and experience supporting factoring company is a plus

5. 5-7 years of experience with relative background work

6. 4 years of management experience in the Financial position capacity assisting the Head of Company.

7. Have some IT background to handle digitisation of the Finance Dept., familiarity in sourcing and setting up finance systems would be helpful.
