Job description

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the Finance and Accounting team for subsidiary company.
  2. Prepare/review monthly financial report, quarterly reporting package to Japan.
  3. Prepare/review quarterly GST filing.
  4. Responsible for cash flow management, planning and funding requirements.
  5. Prepare KPI and KRI Treasury report for submission to Japan.
  6. Work with Asia Pacific Region and Japan HQ on respective reporting requirements.
  7. Necessary preparation and presentation for the shareholder meetings and board of directors' meetings.
  8. Prepare business plan and provide recommendations to management.
  9. Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership, contributing to the overall business strategy.
  10. Coordinate and liaise with external auditors regarding audit requirements, including preparation of audited financial statements.
  11. Liaise and work with tax agent on tax compliance matters and review tax computation prepared by tax agent.
  12. Liaise with corporate secretary for all corporate secretarial matters.
  13. Maintain and ensure compliance with accounting policies, guidelines, and internal control systems.
  14. Any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

  1. Min. Degree in Accounting / CA / ACCA or equivalent
  2. Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position (with supervisory experience)
  3. Expert level in Microsoft Excel is a must
  4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  5. Highly committed team player
  6. Independent and hands-on with a positive learning attitude
  7. Able to communicate and manage stakeholders
