As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial related activities of the company. This includes direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, and tactical matters as they relate to budget management and cost benefit analysis.
Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
Ensure credibility of Finance department by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the Hotel.
Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs, strategies and regulatory action.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance and applicable federal, state and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Participate in developing new business, specifically: assist the GM in identifying new funding opportunities, the drafting of prospective programmatic budgets, and determining cost effectiveness.
Establishes finance operational strategies
Oversee all purchasing activity
Monitor banking activities of the organization.
Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the organization's needs.
Monitors financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
Maximizes return on invested funds by identifying investment opportunities; maintaining relationships with the investment community.
Serve as one of the trustees and oversee administration and financial reporting of the organization's Savings and Retirement Plan.
Investigate cost-effective benefit plans and other fringe benefits which the organization may offer employees with the goal of attracting and retaining qualified individuals.
Oversee the production of monthly reports including reconciliations, financial statements and cash flow projections for use by Executive management
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable and ensure a disaster recovery plan is in place.
Oversee business insurance plans and health care coverage analysis.
Reports financial status by developing forecasts; reporting results; analyzing variances; developing improvements.
Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures.
Ensure that all statutory requirements of the organization are met.
