Finance Leasing Manager (Business Development/Marketing, $8.5K) (ID: 670584)

Roles & Responsibilities

This hire is responsible for business development, business process management, and credit analysis & control in the Finance & Leasing market. Managing the daily operations of the Singapore office and growing the organization's presence within Asia Pacific markets.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Enhance business & product development by leveraging leasing market experience and legal skills.
2. Develop market strategies aligned with the company's vision, values, and philosophy to maximize opportunities and achieve budgeted volume and profit targets.
3. Handle legal contract matters and manage related processes.
4. Oversee credit & risk management and process execution using extensive credit underwriting skills.
5. Manage liquidation and delinquency issues.
6. Design and implement strategies for business development and expansion in finance and leasing, coordinating with strategic partners and shareholders.
7. Collaborate closely with the Board of Directors to set strategic directions, achieve targets with team members.
8. Negotiate contracts with vendors and partners to secure favorable terms.
9. Analyze risk and compliance variables to ensure sound business decisions and maintain the company's reputation.
10. Build and nurture relationships with internal and external partners and shareholders to identify growth opportunities.
11. Maintain cross-border cooperation and secure transnational projects.
12. Coordinate with HQ directors, managers, and teams to define corporate strategy, set targets, and monitor progress.
13. Develop revenue streams by identifying new profit opportunities, setting sales targets, and managing teams to achieve them.
14. Stay updated on market trends and respond proactively with relevant stakeholders.
15. Ensure client solutions meet or exceed expectations.
16. Support career development and progression of the local management team.
17. Manage and develop the marketing team to meet budget and goals.

Job Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in Corporate investment.
3. Adequate experience in the leasing market.
4. Strong credit and underwriting skills, with a deep understanding of financial statement analysis.
5. Extensive experience handling mid and large ticket leases, loans, and other banking/equipment financing products, including operating leases.
6. Deep understanding of leasing and loan documentation to facilitate closing and negotiations.
7. Excellent interpersonal and business writing skills for stakeholder engagement, contract negotiations, vendor management, and due diligence.
8. Strong problem-solving, negotiation skills, and resilience to build consensus among stakeholders.
