Job summary

A hands-on Finance Lead is sought to establish and run the full finance function for a semiconductor manufacturing startup in Singapore. You will build SOPs, controls, and scalable processes while partnering with R&D and Operations to enable growth.

You will own end-to-end finance, including accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and internal controls, and lead cost management, inventory control, and capital expenditure governance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of finance experience in manufacturing environments.
• Startup/greenfield experience is a plus.
• Strong expertise in costing, inventory control and finance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit and controls.
• Drive manufacturing finance, costing, inventory analysis and capex control.
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering and Operations on investments and growth.
• Build SOPs, policies, governance and ERP systems from ground up.
• Develop management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow plans.
• Manage external stakeholders including auditors, bankers and investors.

Hands-on Finance Lead with strong semiconductor manufacturing experience to establish and lead the full finance function in a startup environment. Responsible for building SOPs, controls, systems, and scalable financial processes while partnering with R&D and Operations to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full spectrum of finance, including accounting, reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, compliance, and internal controls.
• Drive manufacturing finance, including costing, inventory management, variance analysis, profitability, and capital expenditure control.
• Partner closely with R&D, Engineering, and Operations to support product development, investment decisions, and business expansion.
• Establish SOPs, finance policies, governance frameworks, and ERP systems from the ground up.
• Develop management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage external stakeholders including auditors, bankers, tax authorities, investors, and grant agencies.

Ideal Profile

• 15 years of finance experience, preferably within semiconductor, electronics, or high-tech manufacturing.
• Proven track record in startup, greenfield, or finance transformation environments.
• Strong expertise in manufacturing costing, inventory control, and finance process implementation.
• Hands-on leader capable of building finance infrastructure and teams from scratch.
