Finance Lead – Grants & Procurement Operations - GH

A well-established organization is looking for a Finance Lead to take on a strategic and hands-on role overseeing grant and procurement operations. This role will also involve guiding a team of finance professionals, driving process improvements, and ensuring compliance across financial workflows.

Role Overview:

• Provide day-to-day oversight and operational leadership within the finance function.

• Supervise a team responsible for managing grants and procurement processes.

• Drive the planning and forecasting of funding, ensuring sound financial projections.

• Review and analyze financial reports to ensure data integrity and insight-driven decision-making.

• Serve as a key advisor to the wider team on financial operations and industry best practices.

• Strengthen internal controls by evaluating and refining existing workflows related to grants and procurement.

• Contribute to cross-functional projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications preferred.

• 8 years of Grants Operations and Budgeting experience

• Strong background in team development and mentoring.

• Experienced with SAP S/4HANA (Finance and Procurement modules), including implementation exposure.

• Self-motivated, collaborative, and solutions-oriented with a high level of initiative.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• High standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.

• Competent in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Strong communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
