Job summary

Ingenico seeks a seasoned finance leader to oversee finance operations and statutory oversight for Singapore and Malaysia. You’ll drive governance, regulatory compliance, and strategic insights across the region, coordinating with outsourced providers to ensure operational excellence.

The role emphasizes FP&A, statutory reporting, and cross-border intercompany activities, with a hybrid work model (2 days WFH per week) in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in Controllership, FP&A, Finance Management, or related fields.
• Experience with SAP, TM1 or similar financial systems.
• Knowledge of Singapore statutory reporting, tax, audit, and compliance requirements; Malaysia experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close, statutory compliance, tax, audit, and regulatory submissions for Singapore and Malaysia.
• Oversee outsourced finance operations (AP, AR, GL), monitor service delivery, manage SLAs, and resolve escalations.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, process enhancements, and regional projects.
• Manage intercompany cross-charges, related agreements, and ad hoc finance requirements.

In this role, you will lead finance operations and statutory oversight for Ingenico's Singapore and Malaysia entities. You will play a key role in ensuring financial compliance, delivering meaningful business insights, and overseeing outsourced finance service providers to support operational excellence and strategic decision making across the region.

The Impact You'll Make

• Act as the finance lead for Singapore and Malaysia entities, ensuring strong governance, accuracy, and compliance.
• Influence business decisions through financial planning, analysis, and performance insights.
• Drive continuous improvement and accountability across outsourced finance operations.
• Ensure timely and compliant statutory, tax, and audit reporting across both markets.
• Partner with regional and global stakeholders to support business growth and operational efficiency.

What You Will Do

• FP&A & Business Partnering (20%): Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and provide insights to support business decisions.
• Financial Control & Compliance (40%): Ensure accurate financial reporting, month-end close, statutory compliance, tax, audit, and regulatory submissions for Singapore and Malaysia.
• BPO / Shared Service Governance (30%): Oversee outsourced finance operations (AP, AR, GL), monitor service delivery, manage SLAs, and resolve escalations.
• Regional Projects & Process Improvement (5%): Support finance transformation initiatives, process enhancements, and regional projects.
• Intercompany & Ad Hoc Activities (5%): Manage intercompany cross-charges, related agreements, and ad hoc finance requirements.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent.
• 8 - 10 years of experience in Controllership, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Finance Management, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore statutory reporting, tax regulations, audit, and compliance requirements. Experience supporting Malaysia entities is an advantage.
• Experience with SAP, TM1 (IBM Planning Analytics), or similar financial systems.
• Experience working with outsourced finance providers and third-party accounting firms is preferred.
