Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Lead to take full ownership of our financial operations and help build a scalable finance function as we continue to grow. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable working both strategically and operationally.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full ownership of day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax filings, and reconciliations.
2. Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
3. Oversee cash flow management and ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations.
4. Manage and mentor a small finance team.
5. Develop and implement internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
6. Work closely with founders and department heads to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
7. Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and government authorities.
8. Assist in fundraising, budgeting, financial modeling, and investor reporting.
9. Continuously improve finance systems, automation processes, and reporting efficiency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CIA qualification is a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with some experience in startups or high-growth companies.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, tax compliance, and cash flow management.
• Proficient in accounting software; strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial matters to non-finance stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
