Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented, organised and comfortable working with large volumes of data.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work across different teams.
• Interest in cryptocurrency, digital assets or fintech is preferred, but prior industry experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable, payment processing, invoice verification and expense tracking.
• Perform bank, digital wallet and liquidity-provider reconciliations.
• Support the recording and reconciliation of cryptocurrency transactions, client funds and trading balances.
• Assist with month-end closing, journal entries and preparation of management reports.
• Maintain accounting schedules, supporting documents and audit records.
• Support financial and regulatory reporting, including data extraction and validation.
• Investigate reconciliation differences and follow up with Finance, Operations and Technology teams.
• Assist with process improvements, automation and other ad hoc finance projects.
