Abraham International Process Engineering Corp. Pte. Ltd is seeking a talented and motivated Finance Intern to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate and institutional banking and financial services within a dynamic and growing organisation. Based in the Tuas West Region, this role will provide you with valuable insights into financial operations, analysis, and strategic initiatives whilst supporting our finance professionals in delivering high-quality financial services.
Assisting with financial analysis, reporting, and data compilation for internal stakeholders and management
Supporting the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and budgetary documents
Conducting research on market trends, financial metrics, and industry benchmarks relevant to corporate and institutional banking
Assisting with reconciliation of accounts and verification of financial transactions
Maintaining and organising financial records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and special initiatives as required
Liaising with other departments to gather financial information and clarify queries
Learning and applying best practices in financial management and compliance within a banking environment
Currently pursuing or recently completed a qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
Strong numeracy skills and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with large datasets and financial information
Solid understanding of basic financial principles, accounting concepts, and banking operations
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively within a team environment
Eagerness to learn and develop knowledge of corporate and institutional banking practices
Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
Familiarity with financial analysis tools and databases is desirable
Previous internship or work experience in finance or banking is preferred but not essential
