A leading company is seeking a proactive Finance Executive/Senior Finance Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. This role is crucial for compliance and operational efficiency, offering growth for candidates demonstrating initiative and a meticulous approach.
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive / Senior Finance Executive to support our finance and administrative operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. This role is integral to the smooth functioning of our finance department and offers growth opportunities for candidates who demonstrate initiative and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger maintenance.
· Assist in the preparation of monthly management reports and financial statements.
· Support quarterly and annual closing activities, including GST submissions, audit coordination, and tax filings.
· Handle invoicing, purchase orders, quotations, and expense claims processing.
· Maintain accurate records and oversee the documentation of contracts, payments, and operational records.
· Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries, to ensure statutory compliance.
· Assist in budget tracking, variance analysis, and other finance-related projects.
· Support general office administration tasks as needed.
· Undertake ad-hoc assignments or improvement initiatives as directed by management.
Requirements
· Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent (LCCI holders are welcome).
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting; fresh graduates with strong internship exposure and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, or similar).
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and local regulatory requirements (e.g., GST, audit).
· Highly organized, meticulous, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proactive, independent, and able to work with minimal supervision.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a team player with a can-do attitude.
