Job Description & Responsibilities

  • Handle full sets of accounts which include monthly and year end closing, completion of various monthly and quarterly reporting schedules, data entry review of AP, AR, invoices, inventory, general ledger, etc.
  • Daily Accounts Payable functions such as Cheque payments, Giro, bank transfers.
  • Handle staff claims and monthly petty cash reimbursement.
  • Prepare monthly AR Aging Report for review and manage outstanding AR.
  • Data entries for all Journal voucher, Payment voucher and Receipt.
  • Ensure timely submission quarterly GST return and withholding tax
  • Perform administrative duties related to accounting such as documentation, filing, updating records and generation of internal reports.
  • Prepare draft financial statements for companies which are subjected to statutory audit.
  • Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Supervise and mentor junior finance team members.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Able to support ad-hoc assignment.

Requirements

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field (CPA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • 3~4 years’ Finance experience, with full set of accounts
  • Familiar with local financial regulations
  • Proficient in AutoCount Software
  • Experience in full set of accounts
  • Experience working in similar capacity in the manufacturing industry is an advantage
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, meticulous
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Added advantage in Malaysia taxation requirements
  • Candidates with relevant experience may qualify for senior-level roles.
