An established industry player is seeking a Finance Executive to join their Project Control team. This role involves managing project accounting, financial reporting, and variance analysis while collaborating with commercial units. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy and at least two years of relevant experience, particularly in the engineering or construction sectors. Finance Executive (Project Control) page is loaded
Fulfils daily functions of the Project Control team within Finance Department which includes but not limited to:
Project accounting for the ongoing and completed projects
Reconciliation of projects related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing
Variance analysis of project related GL accounts for monthly and yearly closing management & statutory reporting
Reviews project financials, cashflow and management reporting
Prepares, monitors and manages quarterly forecasts and annual budgets relating to projects
Business partners Commercial Units on finance related matters for the ongoing and completed projects
Reviews corporate finance processes/policies surrounding projects to ensure proper internal control. Proposes and initiates improvement to work processes to enhance efficiency
Supports internal and external audit activities and risk management
Any other ad-hoc matters determined by the supervisors
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in relevant field
Strong proficiency in Financial Reporting Standards (particularly on projecting accounting) and SAP Financial knowledge
Experience in the engineering, construction, oil & gas or energy industry or Big 4 Auditing firms would be a strong advantage
Meticulous, detailed, self-motivated and responsible individual who can meet tight reporting deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
Possess good communication and interpersonal skills
