Finance Executive (Japanese Speaking)

Responsibilities

1. Compile and submit budgets and forecasts for the Asia Pacific business in collaboration with relevant departments. Additionally, prepare and submit monthly performance reports.
2. Analyze sales, costs, and capital efficiency, including Return on Invested Capital (ROIC), by considering appropriate levels of inventory and fixed assets. Identify variances and issues, reporting findings to supervisors and management, and facilitating improvement initiatives.
3. Provide periodic reports to the head office in Japan.
4. Oversee management of companies, including the Singapore entity and subsidiaries in Southeast Asia under the purview of the holding company in Singapore.
5. Calculate investment value using the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) method.
6. Conduct cash flow planning.
7. Address external inquiries from auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.

Job Requirement

1. Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
2. 3 years of relevant experience in financial management or accounting roles.
3. Proficiency in management accounting principles and practices.
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Able to work independently and able to work under pressure.
6. Good analytical and interpersonal skills.
7. Good communication skills and be an effective team member with cooperative attitude.
8. Require communicating with our Japan HQ. Knowledge of Japanese language (written and spoken) is essential.
