Conduct audits on all daily revenue transactions to ensure consistency and methodology used is following hotel’s policies & procedures. This includes audit on rate variance and F&B void checks/items.
Ensures all rebates and miscellaneous charges are supported by documentation detailing the charges. All rebate credits must be in accordance with Finance Policy. The rebate credits, miscellaneous charges and paid outs must be summarised.
Verify upselling incentives for Rooms and F&B.
Credit card reconciliation.
Audits daily collection of the General Cashiers Summary against the bank in slip.
Identify and investigate any discrepancies or unusual transactions, including potential errors or fraudulent activities, and document findings for management review.
Prepare month-end closing journal entries.
Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports on a timely basis.
Communicate effectively with various departments and stakeholders.
To carry out any other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned.
Keys revenue journal and distributes to Outlet Managers and management.
Works with General Cashier to check all float totals regularly and keeps control on registers in outlets.
Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations.
Ensures training needs analysis is carried out and training programmes are designed and implemented to meet needs.
Ensures that programs involving coupons, certificates, and vouchers are adequately controlled and safeguards are in place.
Performs various special projects as requested and assigned by management.

Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Accounting or Business Administration or related field, with 2 years experience in an accounting clerical, front office, or reservations position or similar; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Possesses problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organisational and training abilities. Has good writing skills.
