Job summary

A leading company in the drilling sector seeks an Accounting professional to manage critical financial responsibilities. This role involves monthly accounting activities, treasury, and tax duties, offering opportunities for entry-level professionals. The ideal candidate should possess either a degree with some experience or a diploma with extensive experience in accounting, alongside strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Degree with minimum 1 year of accounting experience or poly diploma with 7 years of experience.
• Entry-level degree holders with internship experience welcome.
• Proficient in advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accounting & reporting, treasury & tax duties.
• Prepare monthly journals, P&L reconciliation, and GST reconciliation.
• Participate in projects including implementations & UAT testing.

Job description

The successful incumbent will be responsible for accounting & reporting, treasury & tax which includes, preparing monthly journals, P&L reconciliation, monthly & quarterly intercompany reconciliation, preparing audit schedules, monitoring company bank account balances, managing forex hedging requirements & settlements, derivative reconciliation & reporting, monthly & quarterly GST reconciliation, preparing annual tax schedules & participate in projects including implementations & UAT testing.

Requirements

• Entry level accounting/finance degree holders with internship experience welcome to apply too
