Job summary

The role involves maintaining accurate ledger entries, assisting with financial statements, managing accounts payable/receivable, and performing bank reconciliations. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in accountancy with at least two years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years of related working experience, preferably in airfreight and logistics.
• Experience in financial accounting and reporting preferred.

Our client is a market leader in the Logistics industry. They are looking for a Finance Executive to assist their Finance team for the next phrase of their business. They are located at East of Singapore– easily accessible. The Finance Executive is responsible for:

Duties

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports.
• Manage AP/AR processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain fixed asset register and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Assist with internal/external audits and provide necessary documentation.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasts for planning

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent; ACCA or equivalent qualification will be added advantage.
• Min 2 years of related working experience, preferably in the airfreight and logistics industry.
• Experience in financial accounting and reporting will be preferred.
