COMPANY DESCRIPTION

THKMC was incorporated on 13 October 2011 as a charity to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large, and achieved an Institute of Public Character (IPC) status on 18 November 2011. THKMC is the charitable arm of Thye Hua Kwan Moral Society, which lives by the mission – To Serve Mankind – to help anyone who needs help regardless of their race, religion, colour, language, creed, and culture. THKMC today serves more than 70,000 beneficiaries through over 70 programs across five services, including Disability, Early Intervention for Children, Family, Seniors’ Community, and Therapy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Raising Purchase Requisitions
  2. Processing weekly vendor payments and monthly staff claims
  3. Monthly billing to clients and fee collection
  4. Keying of accounts receivable and accounts payable entries
  5. Monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities (e.g., journals, accruals, reconciliations)
  6. Maintaining accounts schedules
  7. Monitoring and following up on outstanding fees
  8. Fixed assets counting and record keeping
  9. Attending to internal and external auditors’ queries
  10. Acting as cover for finance colleagues as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
