Job summary

A leading firm in Singapore is seeking an Accountant for a charity organization. This role involves managing full accounting functions, compliance, and financial reporting, offering a hybrid work arrangement. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in charity accounting and be proficient in FRS and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts for charity organizations with IPC status.
• Good understanding of FRS and Charity Accounting Standards.
• Capable of working independently and meticulously.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-set of accounts and perform day-to-day financial transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and facilitate audit exercises.
• Ensure compliance check on transactions and prepare audit schedules.

Job description

Description:

• Located at AMK
• 5 days work week
• Up to $3800
• 2 years contract (renewable / convertible)

Jobscope:

• Manage full-set of accounts
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions on accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal adjustments etc, meeting service standards.
• Perform compliance check on transactions.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and management reports.
• Prepare audit schedules and facilitate audit exercise.
• Monitor and upkeep service standards and improve it constantly.
• Provide inputs for SOP review and process enhancement.
• Statutory Reporting
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• At least 2 year of experience in doing accounts for charity organisation with IPC Status.
• Able to work independently, meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good understanding of FRS and the Charity Accounting Standards.
• MS Words, Excel skills , knowledge of WorkDay ERP System will be an added advantage
• Hybrid Work From Home Arrangement
