  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records, manage all intercompany reconciliations and ensure balances are settled within agreed cycles - ensuring there are no aged inter-co items.
  • Oversee statutory audits; serve as management's primary interface with external auditors to achieve on-time, clean audit opinions.
  • Prepare, review and maintain a complete and up-to-date intangible asset (trademark) register for the Yuj group.

Treasury and Banking
  • Prepare and circulate group's treasury position movement summary on a weekly basis to senior leadership to assist in cash flow planning.
  • Act as primary operational contact point for the Yuj group's banking relationships across all relevant jurisdictions; negotiate fx solutions and cash management products to optimize yield and reduce cost.
  • Design and implement a short-term investment policy to maximize returns on idle treasury balances within approved risk parameters. Monitor group's cash balances to ensure surplus funds are placed in deposits or other approved instruments.

  • Review and ensure that group entities tax positions and intra-group cost recharges (if any) are robust, conservative and supported by commercial documentation.
  • Identify and implement structural optimization opportunities - including entity-level tax positions, treaty utilization and transfer pricing policies - in coordination with external advisers.
  • Manage all correspondence with tax authorities across jurisdictions (including applying for and obtaining certificate of residence / tax residency certificates); ensure timely, substantive responses to assessments, queries and notices.
  • Maintain current awareness of regulatory change in each jurisdiction and brief senior leadership on material impacts.
