Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our client's dynamic team. The role will primarily focus on managing the AR process, including invoicing and collection.

Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, the ideal candidate will oversee the efficient collection of accounts receivable, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with company policies.

This role requires a proactive approach to managing client accounts, resolving payment issues, and optimizing the AR process to improve cash flow.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable Management

  • Managing the AR process, ensuring timely invoicing and accurate customer account management.
  • Monitoring and following up on outstanding invoices to minimize overdue accounts and ensure cash flow.
  • Liaising with clients and internal teams to resolve payment discrepancies and expedite collections professionally and efficiently.
  • Collaborating with the AP team on cash flow projections.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generating weekly AR aging reports.
  • Updating daily cash flow forecasts based on latest information from the commercial team, ensuring accuracy and alignment with operational needs.
  • Providing actionable insights to management to support decision-making.

Compliance and Process Improvement

  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Assisting in implementing best practices for AR management, credit control, and risk assessment.
  • Identifying and executing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  • Managing the financial closing process for affiliated companies with low transaction volume.
  • Ensuring accurate recording of transactions, account reconciliations, and preparation of yearly management reports.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to meet reporting deadlines and ensure compliance.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification with ACCA or equivalents.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Responsible and eager to learn.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
