Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Financial Accounting professional for an 8‑month maternity cover. You will handle monthly closing journals, reconciliations, and maintain the chart of accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will also assist in financial reporting, budgets, audits, GST submissions, and intercompany activities, collaborating with shared services and other departments.

Qualifications

• This maternity cover 8-months contract.
• Degree or Diploma in Accountancy, Finance, or related discipline.
• Experience in financial accounting, reporting, consolidation, tax, or treasury.
• Experience with data validation, UAT, or chart of accounts setup is a plus.
• Strong Excel and financial reporting capabilities.
• Knowledge of GST, corporate tax, and statutory reporting.
• Meticulous, analytical, and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly closing journals and reconciliations.
• Maintain chart of accounts and assist in consolidation.
• Support external audits and statutory reporting.
• Assist in GST submissions and tax computations.
• Assist in data migration and system validation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly reports and dashboards.
• Coordinate with treasury for cash flow reports.
