Job summary
A leading company in the F&B sector is seeking an experienced Accounting professional. This role involves maintaining the full set of accounts, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and preparing management reports. The ideal candidate should have a relevant diploma or degree, at least 2-3 years of experience, and strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Mandarin will be an added advantage for liaising with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in Finance/Accounting role.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin preferred.
- Organized and able to work independently.

- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts including AR, AP, GL.
- Perform month-end closing and prepare management reports.
- Liaise with vendors and auditors for statutory requirements.

Job Description
- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts – AR, AP, GL and bank reconciliation.
- Perform sales reconciliation.
- Follow up with vendors for SOA for completeness of purchases.
- Prepare payment schedules and process payment in bank portal.
- Review petty cash claims and vendor invoices, follow up with the relevant party for supporting documents/ approvals.
- Perform month-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts and other reports required by Group.
- Responsible for quarterly GST returns.
- Liaise with external auditors, corporate secretary and tax agents for all statutory requirements.
- Liaise with Operations and Vendors.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirement
- Diploma/ Degree in accounting or relevant professional accounting qualifications.
- Minimum 2 or 3 years of working experience in Finance/ Accounting role.
- Experience in F&B industry and Oracle Netsuite will be added advantage.
- Organised, meticulous and attentive to details.
- Possess initiative and able to meet deadlines.
- Good team player as well as able to work independently.
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantage to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
