Job description

Key Responsibilities:

· Overseeing daily financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures

· Verification and preparation of payment for vendor invoices and claims

· Prepare and monitor invoices for long outstanding debtors

· Assist on GL entries for monthly closing

· Any other ad hoc duties

Qualifications:

· Degree/Diploma in Accounting or Finance, with a professional accounting qualification (e.g. CAT, ACCA)

· Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role, knowledge of non-profit sector is an added advantage

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

· Proficient in the use of Xero Accounting Software and MS Office applications

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with stakeholders

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines
