Job description

Our client is seeking a Finance Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various financial operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter invoices into the accounts payable system.
• Process payments accurately and timely.
• File and maintain supplier and fixed asset records.
• Check and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare payments via banking platforms (e.g., Ideal).
• Prepare monthly recurring journal vouchers.
• Prepare balance sheet schedules.
• Manage banking facilities and related tasks.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Accountancy & Finance or its equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Meticulous, analytical, and independent with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and deliver quality work within stipulated timelines.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems, Companies Act, and other accounting regulatory requirements.
