You will be part of the Finance Team reporting to Financial Controller. You are responsible to handle financial and operational functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts for subsidiaries and the Group including general ledger, tax, fixed assets, and intercompany billings
- Review of Accounts Receivables batch posting for subsidiaries and the Group
- Perform monthly and year-end financial closing
- Assist and support the preparation of consolidated financial statements for the Group, including preparation of financial schedules and cash flow analysis of subsidiaries
- Prepare financial and management schedules, variance analysis, and support timely reporting of management reporting
- Preparation of statutory financial statements for subsidiaries of the Group
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Liaise with overseas counterparts on financial and tax reporting for overseas subsidiaries, associates and joint ventures
- Assist in preparation and review of corporate tax returns and overseas VAT matters
- Assist in the collation of data and information for government statistical reporting
- Involved in the yearly budgeting process
- Assist on project work and other ad-hoc duties where appropriate
Job Requirements
- Possesses at least a Degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of experience in some listed companies
- Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations
- Possess good understanding of business as well as financial issues
- Good communication and strong interpersonal skills
- A meticulous, detailed, and organized team player
- Able to uphold strong work ethics and integrity
- Proficient in Accpac, Sage30, MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience in a SGX listed company will be advantageous
