Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in real estate or finance.
  • Experience handling a full set of accounts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries accurately.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial reports including profit and loss statements.

Job description

Position Summary:

JMD Group is seeking a dynamic Finance Executive to join our team in Singapore. JMD Group is an established investment firm with over 15 years track record in private equity and real estate investment. We have actively been acquiring, developing, repositioning and disposing real estate assets in Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and UK.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable:

· Process vendor invoices and ensure payments are made accurately and timely, and in accordance with proper internal controls.

· Reconcile supplier statements and address any identified discrepancies.

Accounts Receivables:

· Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.

· Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate timely collections.

Month-End Closing & Reporting:

· Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy.

· Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and investigate any variances.

· Assist in month-end closing activities, management reporting, and variance analysis.

· Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance:

· Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns.

· Calculate tax provisions according to local regulatory requirements.

Fund Management (Advantageous):

· Support processes related to fund allocation, tracking and reporting.

· Provide assistance with investment analysis and performance reviews.

Qualifications:

Education:

· A minimum of a Diploma in Accounting or Finance is required.

Experience:

· At least 2 years’ experience in real estate or finance; full set of accounts handling is an advantage.

Technical Proficiency:

· Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

· Yardi accounting software experience is a plus.

Skills:

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail abilities.

· Able to work independently or in teams in a fast-paced setting.
