Finance Executive

The Manager will report to the Head of Corporate Services and is responsible for overseeing the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate, efficient, and timely financial and administrative operations in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

1. Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approval, and timely payment.
2. Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery orders.
3. Maintain up-to-date accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation.
4. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
5. Prepare payment runs in accordance with payment schedules.
6. Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice or payment issues.
7. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and handle payment reminders.
8. Assist in monthly closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
9. Maintain supplier master data and ensure compliance with internal controls.
10. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
11. Ensure compliance with tax regulations (e.g., GST where applicable).
12. Prepare and submit reports for uploading to the Training Partners Gateway.
13. Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting.
2. Proven work experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
3. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload independently.

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
