Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the monthly closing of accounts and ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports to management.

  • Prepare monthly management reports and presentations (including financial and business performance analysis).

  • Review and verify expenses.

  • Reconcile medical insurance claims to payment reports/collections, and liaise with clinic operations teams to resolve rejected claims.

  • Prepare annual budgets and forecasts.

  • Prepare and submit annual statutory accounts in compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Prepare quarterly GST returns and annual corporate tax filings.

  • Prepare relevant financial reports and presentations for Annual General Meetings.

  • Liaise with auditors in relation to annual statutory audits.

  • Assess current practices and processes, and make recommendations for improvements.

  • Perform any other duties which may be assigned from time to time.

Job Requirement:

  • Degree or diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA) a plus

  • 3-6 years of relevant experience

  • Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel

  • Good problem-solving, analytical and presentation skills

  • Conscientious and meticulous

  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of Xero accounting software and clinics/retail industries will be an advantage
