The Company

This is what you’ll do:

  • Maintain proper accounts by ensuring accurate financial and cost accounting records, reconciling transactions, preparing financial and management reports.
  • Review standard costs and update product costing system.
  • Analyse the actual manufacturing cost incurred in comparison with the standard manufacturing cost and provide explanation/ interpretation of the variances
  • Monitor cost variances, production and inventory costs. Work with procurement, business units and operations teams to identify deviations from standard costs and take corrective action.
  • Conduct inventory valuation and ensure accurate reporting of raw materials, work-in-progress and finished goods.
  • Track and manage the company's fixed assets, including depreciation calculations, asset capitalization and disposals.
  • Maintain appropriate insurance coverage and records.
  • Involve in annual audit and inventory count.
  • Participate in process improvement projects.
  • Learn and understand the job scope of other team members to provide coverage when needed.
  • Handle any ad-hoc duties as assigned to support accounting and finance.

Our dream candidate

  • Minimum Diploma / Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office i.e. Excel/PowerPoint etc
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience preferably in manufacturing environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to develop plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish assignments on time
  • Good financial and cost accounting knowledge
  • PC Literacy Skills – Microsoft Office with strong Excel knowledge. Knowledge of SAP Business One system would be an advantage

  • Work well under pressure and have no qualms assuming additional responsibilities
