Join us as a Finance Executive (Payroll cum General Cashier) in Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong & Holiday Inn Express Singapore Katong! You’ll have ambition, talent and obviously some key skills because, for this vital role, we’re looking for someone who can:

• Perform payroll processing and month end closing of payroll with high accuracy and ensure all monthly and yearly submissions to the authority are done in a timely manner.
• Ensure overtime claims are supported by proper approval and authorization.
• Prepare input for payroll run including hours worked, terminations, adjustments, annual, sick and recreation leave.
• Reconcile automatic payroll deductions such as superannuation payments, city ledger, etc.
• Supervise filing of payroll reports.
• Journalize payroll summary each month.
• Supervise filing pay slips.
• Examine year-to-date tax calculations and tax returns of the year.
• Prepare provident fund and other related payments to CPF Board.
• Prepare all other payments and submissions to local authority on the specific timing.
• Perform General Cashier Duties.
• Cooperate, coordinate and communicate with other departments in matters concerning accounting related matters and internal control.
• Provide assistance on analyzing monthly financial accounts and provide financial information to Finance Manager.
• Maintain relationship with CPF/MOM/Labour Offices to ensure rates of pay are correct and current and maintain current copies of labour/union agreements for all positions.
• Assist in monthly forecasting and yearly budget input in relation to payroll data.
• Prepare manual payment for termination.
• Examine year-to-date tax calculations.
• Examine tax returns of the year.
• Prepare income tax payment to Tax Office.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements for this role

Minimum Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 2 Years of related work experience.
