Job summary

A leading company in the HR sector is seeking an Accountant to manage financial transactions, compliance checks, and report preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Accountancy and experience in charity organizations. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement and a 2-year renewable contract, providing opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or relevant qualifications.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounts for charity organizations.
  • Ability to work independently, meticulous.

  • Manage full-set of accounts and financial transactions.
  • Prepare bank reconciliation statements and management reports.
  • Statutory reporting and additional duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage full-set of accounts
2. Perform day-to-day financial transactions on accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal adjustments etc, meeting service standards.
3. Perform compliance check on transactions.
4. Prepare bank reconciliation statements and management reports.
5. Prepare audit schedules and facilitate audit exercise.
6. Monitor and upkeep service standards and improve it constantly.
7. Provide inputs for SOP review and process enhancement.
8. Statutory Reporting
9. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Period:

  • 2 year contract (renewable)

Location:

  • Ang Mo Kio

Working hours:

  • Mon to Fri: 8.30 am - 6pm (Hybrid)

Salary:

  • Up to $3800

Job Requirements:

1. Minimum Diploma in Accountancy or other relevant professional qualifications
2. At least 2 year of experience in doing accounts for charity organisation with IPC Status.
3. Able to work independently, meticulous with good analytical and problem-solving skills
4. Good understanding of FRS and the Charity Accounting Standards.
5. Written and verbal communication skills
6. MS Words, Excel skills , knowledge of WorkDay ERP System will be an added advantage
7. Hybrid Work From Home Arrangement
